A Chance to See Vimy

Great news for young history buffs from the folks at Canada's History. A new 'Vimy Foundation Award' will send 20 students to Europe for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Vimy Ridge in France.

The Vimy Foundation has established the new Vimy Pilgrimage Award for outstanding youth leadership and service. The award will recognize 20 dedicated young people between the ages of 14 and 17.

What's the trip entail? A fully funded, week-long educational tour designed in partnership with EF Tours.

How to be considered? Each student must submit a 500-word motivational letter describing why they deserve to be selected for this trip, along with two letters of support. The deadline for submissions is November 23rd. Students can apply online here.
